The Process of a uBlanket
What is a uBlanket?
A uBlanket is a custom-designed blanket created out of your memorable t-shirts.

Step 1: Choose Your Shirts
uBlanket is made from 20 panels - the front, back, or both sides of a shirt can be used. So, we need at least 10 shirts to make a full blanket. You can use tees, button downs, polos, jerseys, etc...
Sending more than 10 has some advantages:
- We use the extra panels to make blankets for homeless children
- You can choose only the interesting side of each shirt.
Step 2: Send Them to Us
We supply a pre-paid, insured, shipping bag that you fill with your shirts. It’s preaddressed to come back to us.
Step 3: You design the blanket online
After we receive your shirts, they’re photographed and made available on your personal blanket designing website. You’ll get an email from us explaining how to log in and design your blanket. You’ll be able to choose how the front and back of each shirt will be cut, as well as how to lay them out on the finished blanket.
Each blanket is backed with a soft, anti-pill fleece material, you’ll be able to choose the color of the backing material as well.
Step 4: We quilt it and send it to you
Once you’ve completed designing the blanket, your shirts are cut and sewn together. Then we add high-loft batting and the fleece backing. Once your blanket is complete you will receive an email from us with tracking information and delivery date.
